Participation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vahram Kazhoyan in the 92nd meeting of the Group of Francophone Embassies, Delegations and Institutions

Ambassador of Armenia to Vietnam Vahram Kazhoyan participated in the 92^nd meeting of the Group of Francophone Embassies, Delegations and Institutions (Groupe des ambassades, délégation et institutions francophones au Vietnam - GADIF) in Vietnam, organized by the Embassy of Belgium, the current chair of the GADIF and by the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the International Organization of La Francophonie, on November 30, 2021.

The meeting was chaired by the Ambassador of Belgium, President of GADIF Paul Jansen, and the Representative of the Asia-Pacific Region of the International Organization of La Francophonie Sheku Ossouman, who delivered the opening speeches.

Within the agenda, the participants approved the report of the previous 91^st meeting, discussed the draft resolution on cooperation between the UN and the OIF, to be adopted during the upcoming UN General Assembly Session, the Cooperation Agreement between the EU and Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific countries, and several other documents.

The proposal of the International Organization of La Francophonie for Asia-Pacific to establish the “Salle du Sommet de la Francophonie de Hanoi” at the Vietnam Diplomatic Academy was approved by the participants.

Ambassadors of Belgium, France, Romania and Morocco, the representative of the Asia-Pacific region of the International Organization of La Francophonie, as well as Charge d’affaires and diplomats of other Francophone countries accredited in Vietnam participated the meeting.
